‘The outer, the inner... Most often I know exactly the outside space I am looking for, where I feel comfortable in my inner, which outside space that will take me to my inner.’

My art objects consists of textile installations and sculptures where the material’s characteristics build up rooms in an interplay between the visible and hidden. By making the organic-thread-sculptures of iron and textile rust, starts an investigation how iron’s corrosion influences a thread dyed with different plants.

‘I see our conscious and unconscious sides as rooms inside us. These are more or less known to others, but perhaps also to ourselves. I do not see these spaces as the home for my different self-perceptions, rather as a me built up with various rooms - like organs. Each space is a discussion, it responds to memories and experiences. We are all built up of different spaces in constant change, which makes it even more thrilling’.
